Here’s how you can help. Before Veterans Day:
Make a list of at least 10 Veterans (if you don’t know any find some, they’re everywhere, just ask)
On Veterans Day, pick up the phone.
Call each Veteran on your list
Tell them “Thank you for your service”.
If you don’t reach them, leave a message.
Please don’t just send an email (unless that's the only way you can reach them). It’s thoughtful, but you’ll miss out on a beautiful experience. Most veterans do not expect a thank you, but they deserve it. You will be richly rewarded by the Veteran response, I promise!
Please tell everyone you know to do the same. Let’s burn up the phones for our Veterans and let them know how much they are appreciated!!!
